Joint Statement on Inclusive, Safe, and Caring Schools

The Campbell River Board of Education and School District, Campbell River Principals' and Vice-Principals' Association, Campbell River District Teachers' Association, and CUPE Local 723 issued this joint statement on their commitment to inclusive, safe, and caring schools.

2026 School Trustee Election

On October 17, 2026 voters in BC will elect mayors, councilors, area directors, school trustees and others to fill four-year terms on municipal councils, regional district boards, school boards, and other public organizations.

    General Voting Day for the 2026 school trustee election will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

    Residents of School District 72 can vote to elect seven trustees to the Board of Education for the 2026 to 2030 term. Trustees are elected from three electoral areas: Greater Campbell River, Sayward Valley, and the Discovery Islands (Quadra, Cortes & Read).
